New generation transmission swap starter adapter

The adapter will work for all M50, M52, M54, S50, S52 and S54 engines when mounting to 6HP19, 6HP21, 8HP45, S6-53 and GS7D36SG transmissions (that originally came behind a 6cyl BMW).

Adapters are billet aluminum and include original BMW hardware necessary to connect to the transmission.

Adapting to a late model transmission is a straightforward process:

1. Acquire a flexplate or flywheel/clutch kit (depending on transmission application) that is compatible with an 8-bolt crankshaft flange N54 BMW engine (<01/2009 production).
2. Bolt the transmission to the engine using (4) mounting holes. The lower holes with the dowels will connect without modification. The upper (2) holes will need to be slotted to line up with the original holes in the engine.
3. Bolt the adapter to the starter using the supplied hardware 
4. Bolt the starter and adapter assembly to the transmission.
